Important Consideration
- Halal certificates are now mandatory for certain product categories as mandated by Law No. 33 of 2014 and its derivative regulations.
- The certification process requires companies to have an Internal Halal Team and a proper documentation system.
- Products that are not halal certified enjoy less exposure, especially in modern retail and marketplaces.
- Certification is valid for 4 years and must be renewed before it expires.
