Process and Timeline

Consultation & Document Preparation
Product identification, license type (API-U/API-P/API-T), and preparation of supporting documents (SIUP, NPWP, NIB, contract, invoice, packing list). Estimated time: 1-2 working days.

Export License Application via OSS
Use the OSS system to apply for an export license. Upload documents and related information. Estimated time: 1-3 working days.

PEB Registration (Notice of Export of Goods)
Submit PEB to the Customs & Excise office at least 7 days before export. Include invoice, packing list, and NPWP / NIPER. Estimated time: 1 day submission and 1-3 days inspection.

Payment of Export Duty & Export Tax
Pay the export tariff (ad valorem or ad-natura) according to the PEB document. Estimated time: 1-3 working days, depending on the bank and customs.

Goods Release & Loading
After payment is completed, process physical inspection if needed, then release goods via SPPB. Estimated time: 1-3 working days.

Follow-Up and Reporting
Reporting exports (PEB) to relevant agencies: MOT, DG Customs, and BKPM if required. Estimated time: 1-3 working days.

Important Consideration
- Certain products require special export licenses (for example: processed wood, coffee, swallow’s nest, etc.).
- HS Code errors may cause delays or rejections at the port of export.
- Ensure that product data and specifications are in line with destination country requests (labels, certifications, etc.).
- Exports can be made on behalf of the company itself or through a partner holding an Export License (IOR scheme).
