Sponsorship Document Preparation
Consists of passport (≥18 months old), official sponsorship letter, proof of pension fund/account (minimum US$1,500-3,000 per month or US$50,000 deposit), health & life insurance, proof of residential address for ≥1 year, and statement of non-employment. Estimated time: 5-7 working days.

Telex Approval & Sponsorship Submission to Immigration
Official sponsor submits telex visa to the Indonesian Immigration Office and submits sponsorship documents to the Consulate General (if done from abroad). Estimated time: 10-14 working days.

Visa Collection at Embassy / Arrival e-Visa
Upon approval, a physical visa or e-visa is issued. Clients can enter Indonesia and directly apply for KITAS (limited stay permit). Estimated time: 3-5 working days.

Important Consideration
- Retirement KITAS does not allow the visa holder to work in Indonesia.
- To obtain a retirement visa, official sponsorship from a company or agent registered with the Directorate General of Immigration is necessary.
- Proof of income and residence are important requirements in the verification process.
- After 5 years, Retirement KITAS can be upgraded to KITAP (Permanent Residence Permit).
